The name Sotrimex comes from the first two letters of four French words: Société Travaux Import Export, these words were chosen to reflect what we do.

Sotrimex is currently a privately owned and independent international freight forwarder that has provided unparalleled service in Mauritius since 1991.Over 18 years on the underlying principles of sustainable win-win partnerships and our determination is still at the forefront of our company which is "do the job right first time, on time".

Over the years we have built strong relationships with our customers therefore committed to giving each and every one of them the individual attention that they require and deserve. We regularly reassess our performance; review our processes and procedures inline with customer feedback or developments from within the freight forwarding industry.
